			<description><![CDATA[ Kanutta..I have been lucky not to have problems
          with my neck.<br> My stenosis,DDD is in the
          Thoratic to the lumbar area..<br> I have had many
          epidural's to help the pain..but it comes back..then the
          cycle start's over..<br><br> No I have never
          had a diskogram,but have looked into it..but I can't have
          it done due to having back surgery and fusion yr's
          ago.<br><br> I have had a nerve

          the back you get facet injections?<br><br>
          Degenerative discs often lead to facet joint problems,
          it's a chain reaction, a process. <br><br>
          But the disc also has nervefibers that generate
          pain.<br><br> And the nerveroot itself. It's
          really difficult to find out what is causing the most
          pain, one need nerveblocks and discogram to find

			<description><![CDATA[ Facet joint pain can be a pain generator for us
          with disc problems Mosken. That's why i have gone through
          facet blocks for the cervical columna. So I'm glad we
          have this info on the board about this syndrome. But it
          is not the main pain generator for all of us.

          nerveroot problems, the facet joints are in danger. They
          have to carry extra load, they enlargen, and thus can
          cause you pain IN ADDITION to the pain of the disc and
          possible nerveroot compression. But they are by no means
          the only source of your pain if you have disc

          just a tiny little bit of the anatomy of the nerves. They
          are a part of the dorsal root of the spinal
          nerve.<br><br> IF you have disc problems and
          nerveroot compression, the ventral root is compromised,
          and it won't do anything for you to have facet
          denervation. Diagnostic blocks are of great value to have
          it ruled out.<br><br> Often it is a mixture
