        <![CDATA[ As we are all on meds of one sort or another, I was wondering if you suffer side-effects and if so, what they are? 

I have been on pain killers for most of my adult life and each one had scary warnings on the instruction leaflet. 


For almost twenty years, I was on Co-Proxamol for back pain, until it was banned because it was so easy to overdose on them. As the main ingredient was Codein,
it gave me dreadful constipation. After that, I had Ibuprofen, which I am still on. That has warnings... ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I tend to get lots of side effects from meds.  All the pain meds constipated me something fierce so my gastroenterologist put me on Miralax which is now
over the counter.  Even when not taking meds I have constipation due to IBS.  Ultram got to the point it made me throw up even if I took it with plenty of
food.  Antidepressants caused huge weight gains, loss of libiodo, and constipation.  Flexeril cause racing heart palpatations. Iburpofen makes my ashtma go
nuts as did reglan when they... ]]></description>

one of which I trusted my docs to catch, they were getting lab work.  HAH, they didn&#39;t mention it, I don&#39;t know if they ever looked or thought about

doctor hasn&#39;t helped, so it is up to you to act. I assume you live together as he keeps stealing your meds and this has to be addressed first.  Is there

side of things.I suppose my response did sound pretty negative, though.It isn&#39;t easy hurting all the time, and knowing there isn&#39;t much I can do about

			<description><![CDATA[ I took tylenol 3 and anti-inflammatories for 12-15 years and have lost kidney function.  Now I am not allowed to take anything without the kidney
specialist&#39;s okay.  Absolutely no anti-inflammatories or tylenol; so I was put on morphine instead.  That was a disaster.  I was a zombie for over a year. 
Now I take neurontin and methadone.  They seem to work as well as anything will but the neurontin causes weight gain.  My brain fog....I don&#39;t know if it
is from FMS or meds.  I swallow... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Oh Sherry, I&#39;m so sorry.  It just goes to show that however bad I feel, there are lots that feel worse. My thread must have caused you discomfort and for
that I apologise.  I have friends in the states and they tell me how everything works and when it doesn&#39;t. I cannot imagine not having meds because I
couldn&#39;t afford them.  We here in the UK are always complaining about the NHS but when I hear things like that, I thank God I live here.  I&#39;m so sorry.

nights blend together,because I can&#39;t sleep most of the time.I still have to force myself to function,which causes more pain.I&#39;m low income, so I

Weightgain....with a capital W.  If it says possible weightgain, I instantly gains 10-15 pounds, and they don&#39;t come off either.  Even when I stop taking

My pain levels are nowhere near as bad as yours, Penny, but here&#39;s the side effects I get from what I take.
<br>
<br>
Co-codamol 30codeine/500paracetamol.  Side effects, constipation, drowsyness.
<br>
Ibuprophen:      Side effects, stomach cramps and pain and sick feeling.
<br>
<br>
I use herbs and homoeopathic remedies also, which help with the pain, and that means I don&#39;t have to take quite so many painkillers.... ]]></description>
