Skype-set,-yes!
One of my dearest friend in US, wants us to Skype.

Have to remember buying one,-because we have some plans with doing it.
Maybe I tell you guys later

My Daughter has one,-but she needs it for herselves.

YIPPEE!! I finally got my headset. Now, maybe I can chat in peace, without feedback from the external microphone, or kids in the background getting into my conversations. Now all I have to do is figure out how to turn the speakers off, and the headset on- even hubby hasn't figured that out yet. He tried going into the audio files and figuring it out, but nothing worked.Any ideas?

Thanks for bumping this up.I STILL haven't replaced my headset-maybe this weekend,I'll be able to do it.I love to chat, but sometimes it's hard to keep my hands going.I was ALWAYS on when I was using voice chat( with headphones) but I don't like doing voice chats with just the speakers-too much feedback, and my kids in the background getting loud, hoping to be noticed by whoever I'm chatting with drowns out the entire conversation. I'm looking in to a better headset to use with my Dragon. Until now, all expensive headsets have been terrible and I had to throw them away. However, I found this special website for people using Dragon. Thanks to a special friend in the US, I will try to buy one they recommend for Dragon. For chatting, it is not necessary to buy anything expensive.

Thanks Mosken! I got the headsets and needed instructions to set them up! I can't wait to get hooked up again and chat.

Oh man, I LOVE Skype!!! I really can't get my brain working fast enough to do instant messaging. I really like having the option to chat long-distance for free. So cool!!!!!

Yep those headsets save a lot of typing, I have a set and much easier than typing, just sit back and relax and chat.

My last set of headphones was stolen by my daughter to use with her cd player,when the headphones that came with it died.Unfortunately, I haven't remembered to replace them.Maybe this post will remind me to tell my hubby not to let me forget to replace the darn things. It would be great to talk to more of you guys.As it is,I use IM a lot, but some days, the typing really bothers me(especially in the winter, when it's cold).I defnitely need to get a complete headset this time,...

Wow Mosken I feel like a old lady now ok a very very old lady lol. I just today managed to figure out how to use my webcam and I got it 4 months ago !I'd love one of those head sets . I have a thing from a IM site called Skype for 30.00$ a year i get unlimited long distance ....

Hi Mosken!

Thanks for reminding me to setup my headset again.
I have not used it on this computer so i have to do the soundtest again.
I will put my adress into my profile as soon as I am ready. Maybe tommorrow evening.

Hopefully it will be working. I do have to use MSN ore Skype because YAHOO and windowsMSN has made big crashes for me before when I had both on the computer and forgotten to switch of YAHOO when I used MSN.

Thinking of getting new computer and may as well get headset so we can talk on the net.
I have msn as you know, so having the headset will be much more fun.
