When I received SSD , Medicare sent me a part a card and
wanted to know if I wanted part B . I said no. Now some
people are telling me they have to wait 2yrs before they

I'm not sure -If- all states figure social security
the same way? You can call your -social security office-
Have you checked, with them? What state do you live
in?
SSD =social security disability? Have you checked online, with, all the information, they provide? This could help a whole lot. Medicare A will be given, when you are disabled and not of retirement age / year. --Part B-- is not offered till you reach whatever your retirement age /year is. This you have to pay for! It's very important to have this especially, with many health problems and possible hospitalization --will warn you it is not cheap.. When you reach the age and year for retirement --Very Important-- to get supplemental Insurance. Medicare does not pay enough for anything by itself. I have Anthem, with --medical and prescription together- I was very blessed to have an agent to give a quote from an online query and follow up. Supplemental plans vary as to price and what, they cover. Get the very best you can and of course afford. Hope I have helped some? Goverment has a website for social security --Lots of information to read, but think you can get some questions answered. Social Security office can help a lot --this week I spent several hours calling and asking my question -for the same thing- in different ways till I finally found someone who knew how to search there programs. ![]()
