Posts: 43112 10/04/08 18:53 Mosken ezOP Board Owner Norway	Tags : None Is that because consumption has gone down? Please explain what you think. I really don't know! Although the haven't gone down much here, but I know the oil price has gone down since Norway is getting less money. But why?

Oil price dives to $93 after passage of US bailout bill High fuel prices and the wider economic crisis has hurt consumption in top consumer the US, knocking crude off a record peak over $147 a barrel struck in July. Oil dipped in early trade after data showed US employers cut payrolls at the steepest rate in five-and-half years in September, slashing an unexpectedly large 159,000 jobs as employment contracted for a ninth straight month. In addition, investors who had piled into commodities this year as a hedge against the weak dollar and inflation have been selling out of oil for safer havens. But it doesn't seem to have come down at the pumps, yet. The prices are still the same at our Filling Up Garage.

Posts: 1877 10/05/08 00:13 Insomniac USA	I don't know why but I just know that I paid $3.25 a gallon today in NJ outside the Holland Tunnel and thought that was a "bargain"!

Posts: 2934 10/05/08 14:55 USA	It was still $3.86 here yesterday when we went by the gas station.Which bothers me greatly. The moment the price per barrel goes up, so does the price at the pump, so as soon as barrel prices drop, shouldn't the price at the pump? Pets name: Joxer Adopt your own!

Posts: 1877 10/05/08 19:40 Insomniac USA	I don't even bother looking here Shade... its too expensive ... but my youngest (who is still only 14) just commented today at how expensive gas is here on the island as he waited for me at a gas station. He said they paid 3.07 in NJ yesterday... I thought I had a bargain at 3.25, now I feel like I got ripped off. AND... how could it be that right across the bridge from us it could be so much cheaper, and here be almost 4/gal. Something doesn't make sense. I assume your prices aren't coming down because of the gas shortage left still from the hurricaine. I couldn't believe all the states that have been affected from the storm as far as gas!

And I was pretty shocked to hear that we still have stations shutting down thier pumps because they have no gas, and don't know when they will get any. Pets name: Joxer Adopt your own!
