OK...so I am just starting down the path of hobby photography. I just started a couple months ago, but I am already hooked. I started out borrowing
someone's little compact digital until I had a half a clue what I am doing. Now I think I have come far enough to justify buying one of my own and I am
looking at SLR Cameras. That's right...I am pricing Big Boys. Anyone have an tips for me? I am just starting out, so I know that I can not handle anything
very fancy right now. But at the same time, it has to be able to grow with me. I can not afford to replace a camera in 6 months because it does not have a
feature that I need in order to advance. So far the Nikon D40, D50 and Canon EOS cams are looking good to me. I never thought I would look at buying a camera
as an investment, but there you have it. Addictions cost $$.
Sleep is my favorite hobby, but snoring is my passion.

I have heard a lot of praise of Canon. You should think about your personal needs. If it was me I would look for a large LCD screen. The weight and how user friendly it is. I don't know whether this is the latest one, |

In praise of my new camera, Panasonic Lumix digital compact, the DMC-FX35 has a truly amazing 25 mm lens of pin sharp clarity. The camera's focus is 4 x
didgital zoom increasing to 7.1 x
The beauty of this camera is it is foolproof. High qulity pictures may be taken on it even when in "simple" mode. Here is a fine review which persuaded me. http://crave.cnet.co.uk/digitalcameras/0,39029429,49295300-2,00.htm |
