It's bound to be some questions in the beginning. To avoid us "hopping" around and answer a thing here and a thing there, I thought we could gather them all in one thread. That way you can read the answers already given. Easier on us, easier on you.

Hi all
It's bound to be some questions in the beginning. To avoid us "hopping" around and answer a thing here and a thing there, I thought we could gather them all in one thread. That way you can read the answers already given. Easier on us, easier on you.

Alice, Not exactly a question. But it's about a post that a new member did today. Name: Toni Patient, Subject of Post: Reason for LBP and PGP. It was her first post and it was in the Introductary Forum. It was a really great post all about sacro iliac joint disfuntion, and then suddenly it disappeared. I tried to relocate it using Community Profile, New Members, and the post is listed there, but when I click on it, it just says Error - not found. I just thought I should let you know, as she was a new member. jilly |

Jilly, that person posted the same thing some days ago. One of my American moderators told us it was spam and moved it, so I just assumed it was the same with
the next post also. It was a really weird video about SPD. Did you look at it? I hope I wasn't too fast...We still have the first post in our time out
room, Alice, if you would look at it.

That was my fault. I examined the post and the link and it had a lot of the hallmarks of spam (i.e., the username of the poster, the rather sweeping comments
that "they had found the cure", etc.). I probably should have opened up a discussion with the person posting the material on the merits of the
website and the appropriateness of posting it here. However, I was really fatigued when I saw it and grouchy to boot, so I swept it off into our little
spam-pile instead of opening everything up for discussion. I'll trust my better judgement next time and encourage a wider talk about these sorts of things
first.

I'm sure you did the right thing, I didn't look at the link very much and didn't look at the video at all. I was a little bit
interested, because it was talking about the condition that I have. But I read all I wanted too, thankyou.
Thinking back, I'm sure it was spam .... and we definitely don't want that on the Board!
(I'm a bit innocent about that sort of thing, and it never occurred to me until now that it could be spam). Well spotted!

I'll trust my better judgement next time and encourage a wider talk about these sorts of things first. Please don't. Sounds like a lot of work to me. I suffer from that condition too, Jilly. Or at least I used to. I didn't understand much from the video, but the link Alice gave me today said a bit more. Things have really been crazy around the board move. Mary you explained it very elegant. I have to save what you said...hehe.. the hallmarks of spam (i.e., the username of the poster, the rather sweeping comments that "they had found the cure", etc.). the material on the merits of the website and the appropriateness of posting it here. |

So far we don't have this option here, Donna.
But....I have the option to do so in my IE-browser. Maybe you do too?? In your toolbar: File + Send (in the drop-down-menu)+ Page by e-mail |

Alice, is there any particular reason that I cannot insert an image from anywhere anymore.
I've been successfully using photobucket to insert images up until yesterday afternoon, but now if I click on the icon, I just get a small "Error on Page" yellow triangle in the task bar, and then nothing happens. Same for inserting from Yuku albums. Anyone else having this problem, or is it just me, and do I need to clean out my cookies or something? Thanks jilly

Yuku's having a temporary problem with Photobucket. If you have tried to access from editor, the smiley and Yuku-album
button won't work either.
If you open editor and click on your album button, you can paste URL from photobucket as usual. This is the answer Chris gave in The Developer's board yesterday: Photobucket is down on our end at the moment. It's possible that it's only temporary (I noticed it was down last week for a few hours), but if it isn't then Monday will be the earliest anything can be done about it. Hopefully it'll be fixed early next week.
