If you have ancestors in Norway you will find some help here.

O.K. Mosken. I'll bite.
Cyndislist is an index of genealogy sites on the internet. I'm not finding it easy at her site to find a site a student introduced me to- TribalPages You don't need a genealogy package to use their site. But if you want to download a free genealogy package with multiple languages, you can get one online from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Free Birth Marriage Deaths....UK
I found this last night, you can look up Birth Marriage Deaths....for free and it gives you a copy.....although it is a victim of it own success as it is free and still being complied.....however i found two maybe.....which is quite something as i did not know beyond my parent until now, to one of parents other nothing....imagine that!!....never seen a photo nothing......could spend ages on this but it is going to take some searching of course they all dead the ones looking up but even so...nice to know. In 1989 have a letter saying that a search was made for someone married in 1885, search not by me....i found them but it was 1883, now i have to find out who they are, have an idea.....but not absolute certain. Had tears as well cos it was unreal... |

May be you can use these sites: www.genuki.org.uk www.one-name.org www.cwgc.org www.familia.org.uk and at last http://www.sog.org.uk/library/links.shtml I just found them yesterday in the magazine : Slekt &Data ( Relatives &Data) They were ment for Norwegians searching for their English relatives  I hope the links will be OK, I haven`t tested them myself.

round, telling all about this letter...LOL am quite hooked now....but looks like will have some work to do!....if i find any more as well will let you know, am
amazed at how much there is on the Internet....
