I'm sorry I can't find the answer...and in some places it goes to a help thread...then the thread says it's not in use anymore... ANYWAY.... How do
I tell if I am subscribed to a post? And when a thread is sort of "done" and I get an e mail notice, I click to unsubscribe to that thread.... it
bounces me into the MAIN page of this site, not the thread... and then I can't tell what to do, or in threads if I am subscribed or not... like normal
forums... "watch thread" or stop watching.... Where is that part, please?

Now you all probably know I am very computer unfriendly (Alice certainly does)
but I received an email from the Yuku board saying I had 3 friends that would like to contact me,  so I pressed the key required and came on an advert for a lesbian site!!!!
Now I am pretty open minded and will try anything new, but I do draw the line one that one!
I think I shall give up on computers as I never know what sort of site I shall open up next!

This should not happen, Penny. Can surely understand you find that a bit too much. I would like to know more of this site. Was it a YUKU site that showed up, or a site where all was a advert for the lesbian thing?? Need to report this to Yuku-staff, so I need as much informationa as I can get. Sorry this had to happen for you.

Sorry Alice, I deleted it. Hubby said it could be a virus so he told me to get it out quickly. It came on my email, not the forum. I did think it odd as
no-one knows my email except Yuku itself. If it arrives again, I will send it to you.

Hello Alice It's not a big problem, but I am not able to log-out from Friends at the moment. Everytime I try, Internet Explorer just locks up. It maybe a temporary problem, but for the time being I will have to leave myself permanently logged in. I loved the pic of the Japanese garden, absolutely beautiful.

Jilly, I don't know whether this is any help, but you don't show up as online if you're logged in and not here. I never log out by myself. But of
course if you want to log out, it should absolutely be possible! Maybe Alice can help you when she is done playing around in Denmark.

 Hello Mosken, Many thanks for that information. That's good to know. 
I'll just stay logged in all the time. I just didn't want anyone thinking I was online and not answering posts and messages, that was my only concern. I might do a cookie clearout, which I think can often clear these odd sort of log-in, log out problems. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your boat trip. I expect it was a little bit tiring, but I hope it has given you lots of lovely thoughts and memories from the trip.
EDIT Have just read today's daily thread and realise that 4 or 5 people were also having problems yesterday. So I expect it's just a temporary thing.

I had the same problem too and was so worried that people would think I'm here but not replying. I finally switched to FF and was able to log out.
I'm glad it just wasn't just me though.

I think everything are ok with the IE7 problems now, but as Mosken says you don't have to log out to be shown as "offline" here. 15 minutes after your last "click" at the board, your name will disappear from Who's online, and if you leave all Yuku sites the green light besides your username will turn grey. If you are using a different computer than your own, I strongly recommend you to log out to avoid that someone else can access your account here. The same if your computer also is used by many others, and you don't have separate log ins. I never log out when I'm at the computers at home. There are only me and hubby using these, and I fully trust him not to come in here and pretend to be me.
