Ben has been excellent in caring for them, he sees to them all as they are his. When they are born they are very tiny!! Cannot see or hear for a couple of weeks in about three weeks they will turn colour, they are all born white. She has had about eight, we think, although we did not touch them, just peeped to see and check that mother and babies are doing fine, into their second day now and all looks well.
Here are the first photos!! yesterday we did not dare go in this far but as the mother is acting exactly the same with us and coming to us, we had a better look.
She has made a nest out of some old clothes and sawdust herself, this will also help to keep them warm,
You would not believe how tiny they are in reality!! Compared with how big a ferret is grown!!
This is the dad today being held by Bens friend and another female. Of course he is total separate from her and the babies now
.
This is Jess and Taff looking to where she was moved to the other day taking great interest....they play with the ferrets and like them.
This is Josh today home from school and showing how you can eat ice cream and bubble gum at the same time! LOL
