 Bell, thanks for starting our daily thread -  - that Starbucks sure does look good - I think that all I can fit in right now is the Starbucks ... my
family just got home from eating an all-you-can-eat seafood dinner at a local tavern to celebrate my daughter's 16th Birthday.
I'm so sorry to hear that you're not feeling well ... I think most of us get the insomnia dragon chasing after us now and then (if that's part of what you're going through right now). 
I hope that you start to feel better soon and that you can chase that insomnia dragon away, so that you can get some rest. I'm going to sip on my iced Starbucks that you provided for us, since it's 84 degrees F (29 C) watch some TV, and enjoy (since it's only 9:15 PM). I really hope that you feel better very soon. Hugs,

 Bell sorry you are feeling badly. I too am having a night of aching. It is 91F here and it is 10:47pm I have taken a pain
pill, waiting for it to kick in. Your brekkie looks good but, I have to wait for mine.
Mark your dinner sounds like what I like. All-you-can eat is my specialty. My hubby isn't fond of the buffet style place I am so fond
of.
He would rather load up on the meat. And I prefer the veggies, fruit, and mustnt forget the dessert..............yummy. Thanks now I have food on my mind to help my tossing and turning. 
We are due to get some rain storms in the night or tomorrow. So I suspect that is the source of my pain. That barometric pressure falling does something to us with FMs. Well, just wanted to say hello, and wish everyone comming after a great day. Take care.
May your today, be better than yesterday, and not as good as tomorrow.

Judy - Hope the rain storms are small ones. I had 2 fillings at the dentists yesterday. One was very deep and below the gum so it's quite sore even now. But my dentist is a lovely girl and very gentle - it's the drills and things that hurt . That and the fact
that in dental matters I'm a complete wimp

Finally we see the sun , after many days with rain .
And, the sun will stay for days new thay said on the weather news .

A good afternoon you all,
Dear Lord, I never imagined that two kids, age 3 and 6, can have soooooo much energy. We went to visit our little niece&nephew yesterday and of course I had to rough about with the kids. I was the monster they had to catch and we had a pillow fight. I had tons of fun but my poor, poor, poor body feels like it has been mangled. Anybody know a good dealer for second-hand bodyparts

Good afternoon! I'm so sorry you feel so bad, Bell!� You are such a trooper to post and to start the daily when you don't feel good!� You deserve some flowers yourself. My back has been so kind to me during my travel, except from one day.� That is really extraordinary. The weather is wonderful and when we have been catching up around the house, we'll probably leave again with the boat.� The boys will stay at home of course and having some friends here also. I so much and joy to have my husband around.� We only have this one time a year we have so much time together.� The rest of the year he is working long hours almost every day. Howdy-hi all good people!
It's a cloudy, not-too-warm day, but that doesn't matter. I'm in the summery mood so I have dressed in capri trainers and a singlet hoping for a miracle will defy the forecast. 
Thanks for starting the Daily, Bell, just sorry you were awake in the middle of the night to do it. Insomnia can be a drag, and what I don't like is that it's easy to feel pretty lonely when everybody else sleeps around you. Hope you got some hours at the end, especially if you had to go to work today. 
I've had the aid her today. She's so good to me after she understood how dependent I am of getting help. She came extra this week, since she's going on holiday next and she'll come her the day after she's back again. It's such a difference from earlier when she could postpone every so often. That was hard.. Each time she's coming I always do some extra tidying. I had to do it countless times for nothing. So now I'm trying to stay perfectly still not to mess anything again. Dustbunny had a little walk between wet and dry floors, and now I already have tiny paw prints all over the living room.
Yesterday was great. We had a nice trip through a few shops around the city. My back behaved pretty good and we got a good idea of what there is and the prices. It was not clothes this time, Leslie, but things like nursery furniture, car seat etc. We didn't order anything yesterday. That's for the two parents2b to choose together. But we have promised to take some of the bill. It feels great to be able to help them out a bit. Usually those two are so good with their finances that they never need any help from us. The only thing I insisted on was buying a car seat belt for the pregnant mom2b. I need to know they both are as safe as possible. 
The rest of the day we stayed at my house. Eating relaxing and eating some more. My son came to join us after work so we could tell him about everything
we had been looking at. I think he's pretty shocked by the prices and everything a baby needs. I told him to get used to it. Babies cost money - a lot of
money. 
A 3 and 6 years old, Pommerlis - that is a lot of energy, I know. We could maybe set up a internet store for second-hand body parts. Think we are quite
a few with some to spare.
I'm trying to motivate myself to go to buy a birthday present for my mom. (That didn't sound to great - I love to buy her a present of course, I'm dreading the sitting in car and walking it requres ) She'll be 71 Saturday, and the whole family is going to celebrate at her house. Not very often
all of us are home on her birthday. Usually some are at holiday, but this year everyone will be there. Will be fun.....and crowded. I think I'll wait
an hour more till rush hour is over.
Sorry about your freezer, Mosken. Typically it happens around holiday-time. Enjoy your time with hubby at home.

She's a good cook and makes heavenly things. We
had wine too and so I almost fell asleep on the bus back home. But
Isabelle slept too and she did not drink wine, so it must be the bus driver's fault and not the wine.

Good morning from hot hot hot Las Vegas. I'm not waiting for the heat to break cause it won't. At least everything but Maritha's car is air
conditioned. (Even the outside of the big hotels). Sorry you are feeling so bad Bell, but that was a super breakfast. Wonderful visuals, and I can now smell a
mushroom omelet cooking.
My story roughly matches Mosken's. My friend Maritha, who is hosting us in a wonderful time share here was scheduled to play with Henri yesterday. She woke up unable to walk yesterday with a very painful swollen hot knee. The swelling was not a lot, just a little, but the pain was a lot. She spent the morning trying to get Kaiser to okay her getting seen. We sent the boys off to have bridge games, her fellow because he had a game scheduled and mine because he loves bridge more than life and we went searching for a medical center with an urgent care. Didn't find one, we ended up at Uni Hospital. Where we waited 9 hours to get out with only an x ray in terms of diagnostics, and some pain medicine. I couldn't sit up that long, not surprisingly and was lying down on any marginal surface I could find. It was hell, but surely worse for her. I at least escaped to eat a bag of potato chips which they did not allow into the ER. Came back very tired and grouchy, and I don't think she is better today. Today, who knows. I haven't succeeded in touching base with my cousin though we have played phone tag at $1 per call on my end. If Maritha is up to playing, she is supposed to play with Henri. If not I guess I will. I haven't played in one of the big events since the fiasco Friday took us out of the three day. I want to play in one while I am here.

I bought a bike today--am I crazy???? I'm not sure, Steph. I would have been crazy to buy a bike, but you?? I remember something about you falling asleep every so often. Are you sure to stay awake when you're biking, and do your health even allow you to bike? If so biking is very healthy they say, and you're not crazy.

compromise (I'm very good in compromising  ) I don't like to
look at my face in pictures, you want to see it..OK then you got an avatar that satisfies all. Half of it with my face, and half of it without. (I'm only
showing my good side )
My mom's birthday present is secured. Of course they were sold out almost all over town for what I wanted. Only the shop furthest away from where I live had some left. (I can't tell. She sometimes read here ) But I got it and I was at the vet's and bought a stack of dog food too. So now I have
for a long time, I think. I'm going to look after my son's dog a week in august so I made sure i have food for them both.
I hope rest of the vacation will run smoothly for you Kit. 9 hours at the ER can make the healthiest person have pain.

me the same "it's a comprimise"... I dunno- still looks like just half of her to me! I'm waiting for the other half. Then it will be a "whole" Alice!
