Verdensnyhet! Ny ultraportabel maskin fra Acer med 8,9" skjerm! Maskinen er ekstremt liten og lett med en vekt på under 1kg og har et lekkert design. Leveres Intel Atom N270 prosessor, 512MB RAM ,8GB flashlagring som du kan utvide med SD porten, trådløst nettverk, webkamera, 5 i 1 kortleser og Linpus Linux Lite operativsystem. Alt dette får du til en vanvittig lav pris! They sold someone similar in Belgium, Asus, to the same prize. They said Acer was not as good. I'm not so sure of that. The prize is amazing, but I would want Windows operating system. |

Det er som med alt som er nytt og ukjent.
Nå er jo Mosken avhengig av Dragon,så jeg har full forståelse for hennes synspunkt. Er også veldig glad i Windows,-men når disse maskinene nå kommer,tror jeg ikke jeg klarer å vente lenger 
Og så har jeg jo alltids en eller annen arving til denne,når den med Windows kommer  Hehe

You are amazing with everything you find, Eli! I just showed it to Knut and he said oh we better get that one! Ha ha I'm not sure what he thinks we need it for. I noticed we could easily connect to the Internet even on the camping site. I wonder if that is the same the places we dock with the boat? |

Mosken, I want one too ... this would be a great gadget for me to take to my local Starbucks, since they have free wireless internet service there now ... I
could even have a Skype call with you while I sip on a fresh Vanilla Latte' ... haha ... I think that this device should be able to work on your boat,
providing that you're near a hot spot ... well, wouldn't you have to be near a wireless network or hotspot to use the internet on this device
regardless of where you are?

Actually, I checked some of the harbors on my last travel. Most of them have free wireless Internet connection. I have Internet on my cell phone so I checked whether it worked. It worked fine, but my cell phone is too hard to use for my fingers with all the clicking. But it is Goodenough for checking the weather. It feels good to have a break from the computer for my hands though. :-) |

Mosken, that's great news that the harbors have free wireless internet. We'll probably see more and more free wireless connections become available
around the world, since that's the future of the internet.

Datakjeden skal ha maskinen inne, Eli, også i Bergen. De har butikk i øverste etasje på Laksevåg Senter.

Jeg var på Binders rett nede i gaten her og de hadde de ikke. Ser att Elpric skal ha de også men lurer på om det er rett, for han på Binders sa att de hadde

Vi har jo handlet mye med Datakjede pga firmaet, og det bruker å stemme det antallet som de viser der. Har snakket med bonden, og han synes også den virket
interessant. :Er jo ikke så veldig dyr. )
