Do you want a nickname below your username/avatar? Something that describes you as a person, a nickname you have at home or the name you like to be addressed as. Anything goes. Not too long though. The Norwegians are on it already. Some has Party Girl, Birthday girl, Supermommo. I'm a bit boring and have Moderator Alice.  Noomi1 has Sailor Eva. This is what it looks like:

Great idea Alice. My kids call me Quasimodo as I'm so often bent over and hump-backed! No sympathy here then! When they all lived at home, they used to
lurch past my bedroom, gurning-faced and shout "The bells, the bells" or "Esmerelda, give me water." That's me sorted!

Thanks ,Grace. Maybe Blue eyed Alice would have been great, but I think I stick to Moderator Alice. Can't seem to shake this moderator thing off.
Yours is fixed Pagan. Penny - I'm not sure what you would like. I take a wild guess that Quasimodo is not an option??!!  Esmeralda sounds so much better. But.....it's
not my place to assign you nicknames; you choose and I'll do the job.

Have any of you read the Louis L'amour books?
He has a series of the Sacketts. Well in one picture we have of me. I am standing in front of our ATV with a shotgun ready to shoot. Guess what the family decided I should be called. "Ma Sackett" I like the name so that will be my knick name. Ma Sackett had 6 boys and was proud of them all. She could shoot right along with the rest of the family. and she took no crap from anyone. When I find the picture I will use it to show why I am ma sackett at heart. Thanks Alice this is kind of fun. |

Hi I like this idea, my Mum used to call me blossom and my girls and my hubby call me old lady. Yeh I know cheeky buggers arent they.
But since I'm a lover of tigers, I like The Tigress  I'm just like a tigress, I protect my self and my young with fiers determination.

Hi Jilly, I have been a tiger lover for years, I just love there markings and there masive heads and body shape. I love them
 that much that my house is surrounded with tiger pictures, statues and soft
animals. I dont think its because on there power that I love them its more that they are a very stricking looking animal and the tigress seems very protective
of her young. I have had the chance to get close to one once. My hubby is in the Army and was posted to a Battalion that had a tiger as there mascot. This
wonderful speciemen was bought on to the parade ground in a kahki coloured cage. His name was Quintis he was olny a cub, but a very large cub I might add.
After the parade I went to see if I could pat him. The handlers said it would be ok. I wasnt a bit scared, he felt wonderful. He turn to his head to face me,
which scared me a bit. But he just stared at me and move his paw over for me to touch him again. The handler said his never done that before. That was it for
me Ive been in love ever since. (I'm sure Quintis was sedated) 
So yep thats the reason I love them. Deblou  oops no The Tigress

That must have been a fantastic experience ...... 
There aren't too many of us that can say we've been so close to, and even touched a tiger. 
I'm sure it made a great impression on you for life .... they are such amazing creatures, aren't they? I love the sheer magnificence of them, and those amazing striking colours.? jilly

Ok...this one is tough. Everyone in my family has a zillion nicknames. I keep claiming that it is an Upstate New York thing, but really...we just don't remember eachothers' names. It was a toss up between Karrots and Punker.
