I need to be able to copy of just one paragraph. On some of the PDF files I can do that without problem, on others I cannot. And I don't see any difference between those documents either.
Anyone has any ideas?

Nevermind, I think it depends on how it is scanned.

HI Mosken if the PDF file is not the original such as a scanned copy on the internet, you usually cannot select copy and paste. One way around it is to print a
hardpaper copy, and if you have a scanner is to scan it and then use the scanner software to convert it to a word document. Then you can copy and paste,
although check to make sure that the scanner has copied the paper hardcopy correctly before you copy from converted word doc file.
Best wishes Steve

Thanks Steve! That makes sense. If I just could get my scanner to work. The software is not compatible with Vista. I have to intensify my look for an upgrade. Gave up last night. |
